Nude Shade No.34 — Reticulum Obscura is a black-and-white study of the body interrupted by a lattice of light. A patterned projection—like netting, mesh, or woven shadow—cuts across the figure, transforming skin into a surface of rhythm and repetition. The image becomes a dialogue between two orders: the organic continuity of anatomy and the strict geometry of a grid.
The composition is reduced to essentials: a close, vertical framing, deep negative space, and controlled contrast. The light is deliberately directional, carving the torso into soft gradients while the pattern sharpens and dissolves in different areas, creating a sense of movement without changing the pose. The result is quiet, formal, and tactile—an exploration of structure, concealment, and visual tension.
Created as an original fine art photograph, the piece is offered as a limited edition fine art print. Prints are produced using archival pigment printing on museum-quality paper, signed and numbered by the artist, and prepared for long-term preservation.
Multiple sizes are available. Production is made to order; worldwide shipping is available. For detailed information about materials and edition policy, please see Limited Editions and Process & Materials.
