Incognito No.42 – Velamen Florum is a black-and-white close study built around texture, proximity, and the tension between concealment and form. The image is intentionally cropped to remove identity and narrative, concentrating on tactile surfaces: skin tone rendered through soft grain, and a patterned textile that functions as a “veil” across the frame.

The composition is minimal and abstract in structure, relying on rhythm and tonal transition rather than scene description. Light is restrained and precise, allowing fabric detail and subtle gradations to carry the atmosphere. The result is quiet, intimate, and controlled — an incognito work where material and framing hold attention over time.
