The Latin title “Alba Silentium” may be translated as *the silence of dawn*. This idea of quiet beginning is reflected in the gentle palette and the absence of dramatic contrast. The scene feels suspended in a moment of calm before movement or activity begins.
Within the Incognito series, anonymity remains a central theme. The subject is viewed from behind and partially concealed by the hat, shifting attention away from identity and toward posture, light, and the geometry of the surrounding space.
