Incognito No.14 – Tessera Corpus explores the dialogue between the human body and geometric structure. The composition places the figure against a patterned wall of repeating triangular forms, creating a visual interplay between organic curves and strict architectural rhythm.
The Latin title “Tessera Corpus” refers to the idea of the body as a fragment or element within a larger structured composition. In this work, the figure becomes part of a broader visual pattern, echoing the shapes and lines of the surrounding surface while remaining distinct from it.
Within the Incognito series, anonymity remains a guiding principle. The image reveals only the central portion of the body, excluding facial identity and shifting attention toward posture, proportion, and the sculptural qualities of the human form. This deliberate cropping transforms the figure into an abstract element within the composition.
The black-and-white treatment emphasizes contrast between the smooth tonal transitions of the body and the sharp geometry of the background. The patterned wall creates a dynamic visual field, while the crossed stance of the legs introduces balance and controlled tension within the frame.
Produced as a limited edition fine art print, the artwork is printed using archival pigment printing on museum-quality paper. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and prepared for long-term preservation.
