Incognito No.12 – Via Nuda presents the human figure moving through a stark urban landscape defined by railway tracks stretching toward the horizon. The strong linear perspective of the rails creates a powerful visual axis, drawing the viewer’s gaze directly toward the approaching figure.
The Latin title “Via Nuda,” meaning *the naked path* or *the bare road*, reflects both the physical setting and the conceptual simplicity of the scene. The environment is stripped down to essential elements: rails, gravel, sky, and the solitary figure walking forward.
Within the Incognito series, anonymity and distance remain central ideas. Although the subject faces the viewer, elements such as sunglasses and the minimalistic setting maintain a sense of detachment from personal identity. The body becomes a sculptural presence moving through an almost symbolic landscape.
The black-and-white treatment reinforces the graphic qualities of the composition. The repeating rhythm of railway sleepers and the converging lines of the tracks emphasize movement and direction, while the figure stands as a calm focal point within the geometry of the scene.
Produced as a limited edition fine art print, the artwork is printed using archival pigment printing on museum-quality paper. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and prepared for long-term preservation.
