Black Illusions No.26 – Saltus in Vacuo is a black-and-white collage composition built around fragmentation, repetition, and the sensation of suspended motion. Against a deep black field, body fragments and silhouettes appear to rotate and fall through the frame, creating a vortex-like rhythm. The work reads as both chaotic and controlled: disorder is suggested by quantity and direction, while structure is held through contrast, scale, and repetition.

The image is deliberately graphic and cinematic, with sharp cut-outs and strong negative space. The body becomes modular form — abstracted into parts, multiplied, and reassembled into a single dynamic pattern. Meaning emerges through movement and density rather than narrative, turning the figure into pure visual rhythm.
