Black Nature No.44 – Liquid Silence – is a black-and-white composition of motion, impact, and suspended clarity. A vertical burst of water rises through darkness in a form that feels both fluid and sculptural, as if an invisible force had struck the surface and left behind a fleeting monument made only of energy and light.
The composition is built on contrast between violence and stillness. The water is captured in a state of eruption—splintering, twisting, and scattering into droplets—yet the black field around it gives the image an extraordinary silence, isolating the movement so completely that it becomes almost meditative. The reflective highlights carve the liquid into sharp contours, transforming a transient splash into something architectural, abstract, and nearly symbolic. What gives the work its force is this tension between instant and permanence.
Liquid Silence treats water not simply as natural matter, but as a form of ephemeral sculpture. The work transforms a moment of impact into an image of purity, tension, and concentrated visual stillness.
