April 2026 — Ars ad Manum
Studio Letter — April 2026
I am pleased to welcome you to this month’s studio letter.
In this April edition, I would like to share a practical update about the website.
A new Add to Request feature is now available both on individual product pages and directly within the product grid, making it much easier to select the works that interest you.
You can now add works to your request as you browse, and the menu at the top of the site will immediately show how many pieces you have already selected. From there, you can open your Request List, review your selection, make changes if needed, and submit everything through a simple request form.
There is no need to manually list the works you are interested in — all selected pieces are included automatically in the request I receive by email.
If you have any additional questions or specific preferences, such as shipping, dimensions, custom sizes, or other details, you can include them in the message field of the form.
For your convenience, you will also receive a copy of your request at the email address you provide. This makes it easy to keep a record of your enquiry and remember exactly which works you selected.
The entire process is designed to be simple, fast, and direct — with no registration required.
As is my tradition, each month I present a “Gallery of the Month” — a personal selection of works that resonated with me most during this period.
Gallery of the Month: April 2026 — Animalia
This 12-piece selection brings the language of the studio portrait into the world of animals.
In this series, the animal is not presented as part of a landscape or captured in motion, but as a singular presence — isolated, direct, and monumental. A stag, a wolf, a wild boar, a bird: each enters the frame with the gravity of a sitter in a classical portrait studio.
