Bad Dreams No.18 – Florilegium Tectum is a black-and-white study of intimacy reduced to fragments: a close crop, a quiet gesture, the tactile language of skin, fabric, and shadow. The frame avoids narrative certainty and instead builds tension through what is withheld—identity dissolving into form, and the scene becoming almost abstract.

The title suggests a “covered florilegium,” a private anthology of impressions. Here, the “collection” is not made of words but of textures: the grain of the print, the soft weight of cloth, the contrast between matte shadow and luminous highlights. The horizontal composition reinforces a sense of stillness—rest as structure rather than event.

As part of the Bad Dreams series, the work explores how the body can be presented without spectacle: attentive, restrained, and psychologically charged. The image holds its quiet power through balance, negative space, and the controlled precision of tonal transitions.

Produced as a limited edition fine art print, the artwork is printed using archival pigment printing on museum-quality paper. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and prepared for long-term preservation.

Multiple sizes are available. Production is made to order, and worldwide shipping is available.
