Bad Dreams No.24 – Textura Lucis is a black-and-white close study where light is treated as texture. The image is intentionally cropped to remove identity and context, concentrating on the sculptural relief of the body and a sharp diagonal band of illumination that divides the frame into silence and intensity. Surface detail — fine grain, subtle pores, and tonal transition — becomes the primary subject.
The composition is minimal and precise, closer to abstraction than to narrative. Light is directional and controlled, shaping volume through contrast while preserving softness in the half-tones. The result is intimate but disciplined: a contemplative work that holds attention through material presence, geometry, and the quiet drama of illumination.
